THE EVENT
Archibalds represents the quality brands of Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, SEAT, CUPRA, and Volvo, as well as providing professional vehicle servicing, car parts, auto finance and more to luxury car owners. The company’s aim is not just to be seen as a world-class vehicle dealership, but to be seen as their demographic’s favourite place to do business.
Archibalds wanted to fly out 23 of their VIPs from New Zealand to Brisbane, Australia for a unique Porsche track experience. The VIP event was an all-expenses-paid trip for VIPs to test drive new Porsche cars, to reward customer loyalty and stay top of mind for future purchases.
CLIENT BRIEF
Archibalds wanted to reward their VIP clients for their loyalty by hosting and treating them to a luxury event. The client relationship-building event would also help Archibalds stay top of mind as the premium car dealership for their VIP client’s next Porsche purchase.
We won the project because our proposal showed a deeper understanding of the client’s goals while paying attention to every tiny detail and aspect of the experience they wanted.
OUR STRATEGY
It was all about style and lots of premium, personal touches for this event!
We created mini-custom experiences at every touchpoint to delight clients and match the brand and its values to make each VIP feel truly special and valued as a client.
Each experience was tailored to the guest to make it feel exclusive and personal, like how they are served at the dealership.
EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES PROVIDED
- Research, source, and book flights for all guests with solutions tailored to the agenda.
- Organised car transfers for the group over the four days with signage at every transfer.
- Researched and booked luxury accommodation in Brisbane.
- Researched and booked breakout activities for guests to enjoy in their spare time such as fine dining and sailing.
- Developed and executed small key touch points with custom items that elevated the entire experience.
HOW WERE THE OBJECTIVES ACHIEVED?
- Breakout activities were built into the itinerary to allow guests to relax and enjoy their spare time, such as dinner at a fine dining restaurant and sailing on a yacht.
- Personalised items at every touch point included:
- branded and customised dinner menus and name tags
- welcome notes with their names, and cheeseboards in hotel rooms
- custom drinks and a cool, refreshing towel on arrival at the hotel
- branded slippers for guests to wear on the yacht.

The VIP event helped elevate the Archibalds brand as a premium dealership that looked after its clients. It reinforced the prestige of choosing the Porsche brand for their next purchase and got clients excited about experiencing the brand in experiential ways.
