Wild Desert engaged our team to design and deliver a large-scale oil and gas launch event to mark two major milestones:

• The launch of Australia’s first hybrid workover rig
• Celebrating 20 years in the oil and gas field services industry

The event required a dual-purpose format:

• A community engagement event for local schools, residents, council and media
• An invite-only corporate evening event for staff, stakeholders and clients

Delivered in Roma, Queensland, a key regional hub for the mining and oil & gas industry, the event required strong expertise in regional event management, logistics and stakeholder coordination.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

With just 4 weeks’ lead time, we delivered a seamless, two-part resource sector event designed to engage both the local community and industry stakeholders.

Community Open Day (Daytime Activation)

• We coordinated a mining and energy community engagement event, featuring:
• Guided tours of the hybrid workover rig and equipment
• An exhibitor alley showcasing local businesses and suppliers
• Engagement with schools, council representatives, and local media
• A community-focused experience including a complimentary sausage sizzle

EVENING CORPORATE EVENT (STAKEHOLDER ACTIVATION)
