We are looking for someone who loves all things Weddings + Events as much as we do. You’ve probably watched Bridesmaids more times than you care to admit to (we say wear that honour with pride) and, you’ve dreamt of being J-Lo the Wedding Planner, because who hasn’t.

You’ve attended and run a few Weddings working with others coordinating the day, and also setting up all the pretty things to make it sparkle that little bit more.

In this role, you will be working on a combination of different events including but not limited to; Corporate galas, Birthday Parties and Weddings. No two events are ever the same!

In this position, you will:

  • Assist the Head Planner on some event days

Or running your own events

  • Coordinate suppliers on the event days
  • Be the primary point of contact for venue, suppliers + client on the day
  • Set up styling as per mock-up designs + notes provided by Head Planner, but with your own flare to make the call when it’s not working
  • Managment of the days run sheet to ensure all elements are completed within a timely matter
  • Seek to solve any issues that arise on the day related to the event and make necessary decisions to implement solutions
  • Seek to ensure the client is having a great stress free event

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent presentation
  • Ability to think on your feet with limited resources
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Teamwork skills + ability to work with new teams every event
  • Confidence to manage suppliers as required

Last Things:

Must be available on weekends, week days, and late finishes with enough notice.

Must have own transport.

This is a casual position. Hours will vary depending on the season. Typically, a minimum of 2 months notice is provided for events.
